I get several of these calls a week, sometimes several in a day trying to make me believe they are my credit card company calling to lower my rate. This call had an impolite operator who was only out to get my personal information and the second they sensed I was not buying into the scheme, they immediately and rudely disconnected. I always immediately file a complaint with the "Do Not Call Registry" each time I get one of these, but it appears to do no good. The registry is probably just a data base to use for prosecution in the remote chance someone may actually try to call them on it through a complaint to local police or attorney general. I'm getting so frustrated by these calls, I may report them to a real authority myself. Perhaps a reader of this has a connection to a Dateline NBC show or 60 Minutes type investigative program that can find us real answers and put these scammers out of business for good. I'm already assuming the caller ID number shown is fake too and a spoof based on other comments in this forum.

This number calls repeatedly and we are on the do not call list! I don't know who they are but they need to stop! You register on the do not call list and it doesn't do a bit of good.

Left message saying that I would be reported to the Credit Bureau - "may god save my life" - didn't say where they were calling from (that's illegal) or on whose behalf they were calling for (that's illegal).

Someone called telling me I had a bill that was over due and wanted to know how I wanted to pay it. Then when I told them I was not the person they wanted they got angry and threatened me.

Someone called from this number, it was a recording stating my name was picked (but did not address me by name) and I have won a carnival cruise with airfare included. It asks to press one to continue/ accept the package...I did not because I'd just gone through removing charges from my phone that should not have been there and it seemed this was not a credible call (I did not enter a contest). I Googled the number and this found that this number has been reported with conflicting information. Be aware of this.

Automatic voice that says to lower your interest rate dial "9". Well, I pressed "0" and a guy finally picked up and said "It's a glorious day with Chase," and I told him that your phone options do not allow me to be removed from the listing. And he said, "There is an option to hang up!" and he hung up on me! You can't be serious you ignorant jerks! Who would do business with these people OR give personal information? I don'y understand how they can possibly make money to stay in business. Better yet, why does the government allow this to continue????!!!! Now, that I know these jerks are tied to Chase, I'll be calling management!

Robo call for election stuff. On voice mail asking for survey stating may call back later.

They left me several messages stating that they are from some attorney's office. When I called back I received a voice message that asked me to enter my personal info in order to receive free airline ticket. Does anyone have any information on how to block them off?
